The River Valley Buckskins is an ABRA organization that consists of buckskin horse enthusiasts located in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Their first horse show was held on August 11, 2007 at Lakeside Arena in Frankfort, KY and what a success it was! Exhibitors survived the 90 degree temperatures and came from eight states (OH, KY, IN, TN, MI, SC, IL and PA) in order to participate. There were over 135 national points awarded by our triple judges - Denise Orman, Ron Orman and Steve Carter. NSBA Dual-Approved classes were offered, as were open all-breed classes. RVB would like to thank the exhibitors for participation, the numerous volunteers that worked the show, along with show sponsors – Lakeside Arena, Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP), Aqua Proof Inc., Instone Air Service and Stone Anvil Farm. We’d also like to thank Danny and Tonya Manley for hosting the cook out on Friday night. Together, everyone made the show a success and we look forward to show seasons to come.
